  • COLLEGE PROCEDURE

    WORKING HOURS
    The working hours of the College is:

    9.00 A.M. to 4.40 P.M. (with a lunch break of 40 minutes and a Morning Tea Break of 10 minutes) on all working days.

    The College works for 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday and will remain closed on authorized holidays to be notified from time to time. It will also function during vacation with skeleton staff.

    However, certain special classes or tests may be conducted with the prior permission from the Principal on holidays.

    Physical Education will be conducted for 2 hours/week after the normal working hours.

    N.S.S. activities for I & II Years only will be conducted as per N.S.S. guidelines for 2 hours/week after the normal working hours.

  • INTERNAL TEST

    Our college conducts INTERNAL TEST to all the students to improve their performance in the exams.

    Internal tests are conducted every month for the students. The answer papers are corrected within 3 days after the test and the marks are provided which should be signed by the parents.

    Our college's motto is to improve student technical efficiency and to get 100% result.

  • PROJECT WORK

    All the students are to carry out a project work as part of their curriculum and submit a report at the end of their studies. Invariably, the industries in and around the city sponsor most of the Project Works and students carry out the same in the industrial environment that they are able to obtain on hand industrial experience.

  • REQUIREMENTS OF EXAMINATIONS AND ATTENDANCE

    The Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each semester for semester subjects by the ANNA UNIVERISTY. A candidate will be permitted to appear for the Examinations only if:

    (i) She secures 75% of attendance in the year/semester concerned with usual conditions.

    (ii) She earns a progress certificate in studies from the Head of the Institution for having satisfactorily completed the course of study prescribed as required by the regulations and

    (iii) Her conduct has been satisfactory.

  • PROCEDURES FOR COMPLETING

    i) The candidate on completion of studies in each semester should necessarily register himself/herself for all the subjects of the current examinations as well as for all the arrear subjects of all the previous year/semester examinations and shall appear for the UNIVERSITY Examinations in that semester.

    ii) A student having shortage of attendance in a semester should repeat the same semester in the next academic year. Similarly, a student who had not attended at least a single paper (theory or practical) of a particular semester examination cannot continue his/her studies in the next semester, even if he/she had enough attendance in that semester with usual conditions.

  • ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD

    No candidate shall be eligible for the award unless she has undergone the prescribed course of study successfully in an institution affiliated to the ANNA UNIVERISTY, Tamil Nadu.

    First Class with Honours

    A candidate will be declared to have passed in First Class with Honours if she secures not less than 75% of the aggregate marks in all semesters put together, except first year, and passes all the above semesters at the first appearance itself within the stipulated period of 4 years, without any break.

    First Class

    A candidate will be declared to have passed in first class if she secures not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in all semesters put together, except first year and completes all papers including that of first year with in the stipulated period of study 4 years without any break.

    Second Class

    All other successful candidates shall be declared to have passed in second class.
